HOUGHTON, Michigan (June 18, 2013) – During the FinnFest USA 2013 Business and Technology Forum that begins on Wednesday, MTEC SmartZone CEO Marilyn Clark will present a discussion on opportunities for Finnish-based companies to globalize operations in the Keweenaw.
Her presentation, titled “Michigan’s Keweenaw as a Soft Landing Center for Finnish Companies in North America,” will highlight MTEC SmartZone programs and resources available to companies to help them break into new markets and accelerate their growth. Clark is presenting at 10:45 a.m. on June 19 in the Memorial Union Building on the Michigan Technological University campus.
The two-day, international business forum is sponsored by MTEC SmartZone, Michigan Tech, Finlandia University and Wartsila. The event, which features presentations, tours, breakout sessions and networking prospects, is designed to identify new and existing opportunities for developing business between Finland and the U.S.
