Hancock, MI — BridgeGuard® is pleased to announce the addition of Jim Spence and Paul Keranen, P.E. to its sales staff.
In his role in Federal Sales and Support, Spence will use his background to help solve infrastructure safety problems for the U.S. military and federal agencies. A retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army, Spence has extensive experience with the federal government.
“The BridgeGuard® team is innovative in addressing our national infrastructure challenges. I’m glad to be joining them and I look forward to helping our customers solve their most pressing transportation safety problems,” said Spence.
As the Upper Midwest Regional Sales Representative, Keranen will explain BridgeGuard® bridge deck and substructure scoping technologies to existing and potential clients. With a background in civil engineering, concrete research, and bridge maintenance, Keranen brings a strong technical perspective that will ensure clients’ needs are met.
“I am very excited to be joining BridgeGuard®. My work in concrete research, specifically the evaluation of alternative delamination inspection technologies, makes a good fit. I look forward to meeting with government agencies, contractors, and consultants across the Upper Midwest who have a responsibility for bridge maintenance or who might be designing, maintaining, or rehabilitating bridge decks or substructures,” said Keranen.
said Jay Ruohonen, BridgeGuard® President. “Jim’s numerous years with the Army are a gain for BridgeGuard®. His experience gives him the drive and desire to provide our military personnel with safe infrastructure to work and train on. Jim will be responsible for federal and military installations as well as state-level clients in the South Central U.S.”
